OUR STORY
Concrete has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My family’s connection to the craft began in the early 1960s, when my grandfather migrated from Italy to South Wales and established a small business specialising in terrazzo and concrete flooring. What started as modest local work quickly grew into a trusted trade within the community.
As the years passed, my father took over the company and expanded it to an industrial scale, working on data centres, football stadiums, retail parks, and large-scale commercial sites across the UK. Growing up around this environment gave me a deep appreciation for the skill, discipline, and creativity involved in working with concrete. It taught me that it isn’t just a material, it’s a craft, and one that carries a legacy through generations.
My own passion for concrete truly emerged during my Product Design studies at Nottingham Trent University. A placement at Warrington & Rose in Nottingham introduced me to the creative potential of the material, how it could be shaped, engineered, and refined into beautiful, functional products. That experience opened the door to a new way of understanding concrete: not only as a building material, but as a medium for design.
Today, The Concrete Corner brings together tradition, craft, and modern innovation. Whether we’re crafting a bespoke kitchen, a statement dining table, or a small piece of homeware, the goal is always the same: to create concrete pieces that stand the test of time and become meaningful parts of the spaces they inhabit.
My mission is simple, to help people bring their ideas to life and create a place for concrete in every home, studio, or business. A place to cherish.
A Concrete Corner of your own.
