I was approached by the Concrete Society South West Region to design and manufacture a bespoke trophy for their upcoming golf day. This is the design I came up with and the final outcome of the trophy. This will be in circulation for years to come at their annual golf day - a really fun project to be involved in!
A client requested for a large concrete table to replace their old dining table. I wondered if they had ever heard of micro cement options and they were keen to give it a go and transform their current table into a concrete one. They were very interested in the idea so I got to work on restoring the table and making it fit for purpose. Safe to say they were thrilled with the final outcome!
These products were designed and manufactured by myself in-house for The Concrete Society South West Region annual lunch. I was put in contact with the organiser who was looking for a statement centre piece for all of the tables at the lunch, including space for some small flowers within the products and strongly displaying The Concrete Society logo. This was one of my more tricky moulds to date but I was extremely happy with the challenge and the end result.
For this job I created 7 tables for an outdoor bar area in Cardiff. The owner was looking to update his outside space with some more character and tables which would be safe to leave outdoors instead of storing them inside, taking up valuable space for other items.
My final major project at Nottingham Trent University. I designed and created a prototype for a shower made out of concrete. I was very new to concrete at this stage but was determined to create something beautiful and striking. This project was one of the more challenging ones I have created to date but one I am very proud of and look back on with fond memories!
